TEK After School Clubs

GHE PTA is partnering with Teaching Enrichment for Kids (TEK) to bring after school clubs to GHE taught by our fabulous GHE teachers. This year we anticipate having a Fall, Winter and Spring club offerings.

Each club will have 6 sessions and run on Wednesdays from 4:15-5:30. The cost to participate is $165 per student.

Animal STEAM - Books and STEAM!

Grades K-1 Taught by Lissy Wood

Come discover, create, and experiment as we explore STEAM through animal projects and books. We will create jumping frogs, build glow in the dark jellyfish, experiment with exploding elephant toothpaste and much more! Put on your lab coat and grab your goggles because this STEAM/Literacy club will rock your world!

Spark Lab! -Survival Theme

Grades 2-5 Taught by Angela Humphries

Get ready to spark curiosity and ignite imagination! The Spark Lab is an exciting club where young scientists dive into the worlds of STEM through hands-on, minds-on experiments and challenges with a survival theme. Each week, students will become real scientists as they construct boats, test parachutes and solve fun survival theme problems—just like the pros! Students will learn how science works in the real world—all while having a blast!

Crafty Creators

Grades 2-5 Taught by Anu Belpu
Join us as we explore the exciting world of animals and crafting and art! We will learn about a new animal each week through literacy connections and will do a craft/art project to go along with each lesson. We will explore the world of various fun creatures. You will be able to bring home unique, handmade items to share with your family. If you love expressing your creativity AND love animals then this is the club for you!
