It's official! Falcon's Nest has been approved by Wake County and will begin construction this month. GHE PTA and our contractor, Reese Construction, LLC, have been granted a building permit for our project.

On July 13th, GHE PTA, Principal Walker, and Reese Construction held our first pre-construction meeting. Along with our Wake County Public Schools project managers, we determined our next steps.

Construction for phase one, which started Monday, July 19, includes grading, paving, demolition of the original school monument sign, and installation of the shelter. Our shelter will arrive in early August.

GHE PTA is excited that Phase 1 of Falcon's Nest will be completed by the start of the 2021-2022 school year. We will share more information about our progress over the next few weeks. Thank you to all of the sponsors that made this possible.
