5th Grade Celebration

Date: Friday, June 13th, 12:25pm

Location: Green Hope Elementary Gym

What an incredible journey our 5th graders have taken! For most students, elementary school is the school where they will spend more years than any other. Let's celebrate the effort, hard work and growth our 5th graders have made before they fly the nest!

We need support to make this occasion memorable for our 5th graders, whether it's through food donations, shepherding families, or helping with the picnic. We hope that 5th grade families will be able to enjoy the ceremony, so we are strongly encouraging parents of K-4 students to sign up for the volunteer slots on the day of the event. For our 5th grade families wanting to help, there are food donations that won't take your attention away from the festivities. Please find a list of our needs and sign up here.

Event Details

Arrival & Check In

All parents and joining family members must sign-in in the gym foyer upon arrival. Please arrive early enough to complete check-in and find your spot before the clap-out beings at 12:25.

Finding Your Spot

After checking in, please find a place to stand alongside the red carpet. Kindly do not stand or step on the red carpet, so our 5th graders can enjoy their entrance.

During the Clap Out

Please stay in your spot and enjoy the moment - there will be plenty of photo opportunities! Clap, cheer, and celebrate our graduates as they make their way down the red carpet!

After the Clap-Out

Please wait for all 5th graders to walk through the gym and be celebrated before exiting the gym to find your student. Parents are invited to enjoy light refreshments and mingle in the designated area. Students will join their classmates at the picnic shelter for pizza and games.

Checking Out

If you choose to check your student out of school early you must sign them out with their teacher.
