Teacher Appreciation Week

GHE PTA is celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week with a week-long set of red carpet-inspired activities. Below are some suggestions for how families and students can also participate and treat our GHE teachers like the stars they are!

• MONDAY: CASTING CALL - Dress up like your favorite teacher or your teacher’s favorite movie or book character to show them how much you look up to them
• TUESDAY: CONCESSION SNACKS - Sign-up to donate movie-theater inspired treats to help stock the teachers’ lounge  
• WEDNESDAY: FAN MAIL - Write your favorite teachers some fan mail describing all the things you admire about them
• THURSDAY: SUPPORTING CAST - Write a fan mail letter or deliver a treat from the faculty favorites for the amazing staff at GHE who support our kids from instructional assistants to support specialists and the front office
• FRIDAY: SWAG BAG - Put together a swag bag with something off our teachers’ favorites list!

These ideas are all optional. Please participate as appropriate for your family or come up with your own creative ways to show teachers your appreciation!
